Pacific Crest Trail
The Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) is a 4,265-kilometer (2,650-mile) long-distance hiking trail running from Mexico to Canada along the western edge of the United States. The trail passes through three states and crosses desert landscapes, high snow-covered peaks, and densely forested mountains in California, Oregon, and Washington.
On April 29, 2022, I took my first steps on the Pacific Crest Trail. Four months and fifteen days later, I was standing at the Canadian border. Wildfires forced me to skip some sections, and although I reached the end, it didn’t feel finished.
So I went back. In 2025, I returned to walk the trail all over again and spend more time in the place that had changed my life. Hiking the PCT a second time exceeded all my expectations. This page holds my stories from both journeys.
